What a session actually looks like.
"No stiff poses" is the short version. Here's the long one.
We hang out. I take a lot of pictures.
There is no shot list. I am not going to arrange you into a pose you would never naturally hold, and I am not going to ask anyone to say cheese.
What I will do is put you somewhere with good light, give you something to actually do, and photograph what happens. Kids are allowed to be kids. If your two-year-old refuses to look at me for forty minutes, that is fine. Some of the best frames I have taken came from a kid who was completely over it.
Bring the dog. Bring the ridiculous outfit. Ham it up if that is who you are, or go quiet if that is who you are. The only thing I am trying to avoid is you looking like someone you aren't.
How it works
Before
We talk about what you are hoping for and pick a spot. I will send a short note about what to wear, which is mostly "wear what you would actually wear." Indoors, outdoors, your house, golden hour, or nine at night under neon — all fair game.
During
Sessions run 30 minutes to 2 hours depending on the package. Expect the first ten minutes to feel a little awkward. That is normal, it passes, and it is exactly why the longer sessions exist.
After
Your private online gallery arrives in 7 to 10 days with every image fully edited. Standard and Extended sessions include a complimentary round of re-edits if something is not quite right.
Yours to keep
Every gallery arrives in two versions — full resolution for printing, and web-sized for posting and texting. Personal printing rights are included, so you can print them wherever you like with no per-print fees and no permission needed.
Your gallery stays online for 90 days. Download everything to your own computer before then — once it is yours, it is yours forever.

Two hours stops being a photo session and starts being an afternoon. There's room for outfit changes, for driving between locations, for a break when someone needs one, and for the unplanned moments that only happen once everyone has genuinely stopped performing.Pick this if
You're coordinating a large or multi-generational group, you want several distinct looks, or the occasion is significant enough that you'd rather have too much time than not enough. This also covers engagement sessions, save-the-dates, and shorter birthday celebrations.

Not a batch crop — some frames hide a second photograph inside them, tighter and more intimate than the original. I find those and make them.

Engagement and save-the-date sessions, yes. Wedding-day coverage isn't something I offer right now — that's a multi-person job, and I'd rather do the parts of this well than everything at once.
